Modern medicine helps people to live healthier and longer lives. It uses scientific knowledge, modern equipment, and trained doctors to treat diseases. In hospitals, doctors and nurses use medicines, injections, and machines to care for patients.

Modern medicine helps to prevent sickness through vaccination and regular medical check-ups. Diseases that were very dangerous in the past can now be treated easily. For example, malaria, infections, and high blood pressure can be controlled with proper drugs.
