English Studies – Primary 6 Weekly Short Class Lesson Notes for Second Term
WEEK 2 – READING/SIGHTS WORDS FROM the PASSAGE
Passage: The Honest Child (A Play)
The Honest Child is a short play performed by pupils in our school. The play is about a young boy named Tunde who always tells the truth, even when it is difficult.
In the play, Tunde finds a purse on the school playground. Instead of keeping it, he reports it to his teacher. Some children laugh at him, but he remains honest. Later, the owner of the purse is found, and Tunde is praised for his good behaviour.
At the end of the play, the teacher advises the pupils to always be honest and do the right thing. The audience claps loudly, and everyone learns an important lesson from the play.
