PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES 

By the end of the lesson, the pupils should have attained the following objectives (cognitive, affective and psychomotor) and should be able to identify and describe earthworm.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON  

INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITIES 

Pupil’s Activities – Display sample or chart showing earthworms for the pupils to identify and guide them describe earthworms.

Teacher’s Activities – Describe earthworm.

Teacher’s remark – Earthworms are farmer’s friend. Write the description on the board.

 

DESCRIPTION OF EARTHWORMS

Earthworms are farmer’s friend.

 

 

Earthworms live inside the soil.

Earthworms move around the wet soil.

Earthworms have no born.

 

PRESENTATION

To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:

1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;

2. Leads pupils to describe earthworms.

Pupil’s Activities – Follow the teacher’s lead to describe earthworms.

3. Summarizes the lesson on the board.

Pupil’s Activities – Copy as the teacher writes.

 

CONCLUSION

To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
