By the end of the lesson, the pupils should have attained the following objectives (cognitive, affective and psychomotor) and should be able to –
1. explain the meaning of developed technology
2. state two distinguishing characteristics between developed and underdeveloped technology.

The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of:
1. Charts and posters, hoes, cutlasses, vehicles, etc.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON
INTRODUCTION
Technology is the use of knowledge to create new devices or tools.
The two forms of technology are underdeveloped and developed technology.
MEANING OF DEVELOPED TECHNOLOGY
Developed technology is a modern technology that make work easy and faster than underdeveloped technology.
Examples of developed technology are lighter, gas and electric cooker, blender, washing machine, motor, etc.
CHARACTERISTICS OF DEVELOPED TECHNOLOGY
1. Developed technology are modern day technology.
2. It is also known as high quality technology.
3. It makes work easy and faster.
4. It makes work neat and smooth.
5. It consumes less energy.
6. It is very expensive.
PRESENTATION
To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;
2. Guides the pupils to identify and name examples of under developed and developed technology.

3. Explains the differences between underdeveloped and developed technology.

CONCLUSION
