Any other numbers can be form by putting one or more digits together or repeating the same digit twice or more. For examples, 10 (1 and 0), 11 (repeating 1 twice), 23 (2 and 3), etc.
Numbers play an important role in our daily activities. Almost all the things we do involve numbers and calculations. Since we are born, our life resolves in numbers. For examples, our date of birth, today’s date, house’s number, mobile number, buying and selling are in number, time spent at work or in school are also in number, etc.
From the first digit of every numbers to last digits has a value we called place value of a number. 1 is a number with 1 digit and a place value called unit. 11 is a two digit numbers with the first digit (from the right) is called a unit and the second digit (from the right) is called ten, and so on.
