TOPIC – PAST TENSE, PRESENT TENSE AND FUTURE TENSE
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
By the end of the lesson, the pupils should have attained the following objectives (cognitive, affective and psychomotor) and should be able to correctly use past tense, present tense and future tense.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON
PAST TENSE
I ate rice yesterday.
PRESENT TENSE
I eat rice everyday.
FUTURE TENSE
I will eat rice tomorrow.
PRESENTATION
- To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
- To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;
- Explains the use of past, present and future tenses.
- Pupil’s Activities – Identify past, present and future tenses.
- Guides pupils to use the past, present and future tenses.
- Pupil’s Activities – Use past, present and future tenses in making statements/sentences.
CONCLUSION
- To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
LESSON EVALUATION
Pupils to:

- make correct use of past, present and future tenses.
