CONTENT OF THE LESSON
LESSON 1 – MEANING OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING
Human trafficking can be defined as use of force to enslaved people to do the jobs that are against their will. For example, people are force to sell their body for sex, work on the farm or factory, work as house help, maid or nanny.
GROUPS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING VICTIMS
The major victims of human trafficking are –
1. Children
2. Women
LESSON 2 – HEALTH IMPLICATION OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING
1. Poor living conditions
2. Poor sanitation
3. Inadequate nutrition
4. Poor personal hygiene
5. Brutal physical and emotional attacks at the hands of their traffickers
6. Occupational hazards.
LESSON SUMMARY
