PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
By the end of the lesson, the pupils should have attained the following objectives (cognitive, affective and psychomotor) and should be able to –
recall and identify the features of word processing.

Functional computer system with ms – word.
INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS
The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of –
functional computer systems with ms word.
METHOD OF TEACHING – Choose a suitable and appropriate methods for the lessons.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON
LESSON ONE – INTRODUCTION
Teacher’s/Pupil’s Activities – Guides the pupils to type their full name using basic features of ms – word.
WORD PROCESSING
Word processing includes a number of tools to format your pages.
For example, you can organize your text into columns, add page numbers, insert illustrations, etc.
FEATURES OF WORD PROCESSING
PRESENTATION
To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;
2. Teachers/Pupil’s Activities – Typing using ms basic features.
3. Guides the pupils to recall and identify word processing and its features.
Pupil’s Activities – Identify the features of word processing.
CONCLUSION
- To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson – retrieve and edit save documents.
