PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
By the end of the lesson, the pupils should have attained the following objectives (cognitive, affective and psychomotor) and should be able to –
1. identify at least four colours.
2. colour objects with various colour.
ENTRY BEHAVIOUR
Different colours – red, blue, yellow, green, etc.
INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS
The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of:
Paper
Crayons
Coloured pen
Colour charts
METHOD OF TEACHING – Choose a suitable and appropriate methods for the lessons.
Note – Irrespective of choosing methods of teaching, always introduce an activities that will arouse pupil’s interest or lead them to the lessons.

IDENTIFICATION OF DIFFERENT SHAPES WITH COLOURS
Teacher’s/Pupil’s Activities – Displays different shapes with different colours.
First – asks the pupils, what shape is this?
Writes the pupil’s points on the board.

Secondly, asks the pupils, what colour is this shape? Writes the pupil’s points on the board.

Find out the colour of the following –
1. Grass
2. Soil
3. Goat
4. Commercial bus
5. Police uniform

LESSON TWO – IDENTIFICATION OF LOGO WITH COLOURS
Teacher’s/Pupil’s Activities – Asks to identify National Symbol and its colours.
Pupil’s Expected Response – Nigerian or National Flag.

PRESENTATION
To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;
2. Guides pupils to identify objects through colours – living and non living things.
Pupil’s Activities – Identify objects through colours – living and non living things.
3. Guides pupils to draw and colour some objects.
Pupil’s Activities – Draw some objects and colour them e.g. ball, cup,box etc.
CONCLUSION
- To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
