WEEK 6 – GROUP CONFLICT AND COOPERATION

MEANING OF GROUP CONFLICT

Group conflict means a situation where two or more groups disagree, argue, or fight because of different opinions or interests.

Examples of group conflict are Quarrel between two families, Disagreement between two youth groups, Conflict between communities over land, etc.

 

MEANING OF COOPERATION

Cooperation means working together peacefully to achieve a common goal.

Examples of cooperation are Community members cleaning the environment together, Pupils working together in a group, Neighbours helping one another, etc.

 

IMPORTANCE OF COMMUNICATION AND COOPERATION

Communication and cooperation are very important because,

2. They help people understand one another.

3. The reduce quarrels and fighting.

MEANING OF INTERNATIONAL CONFLICT

International conflict is a disagreement or fight between two or more countries.

Examples of international conflict are Border disputes, Trade disagreements, Wars between countries, etc.

1. Disagreement over land or boundaries

2. Struggle for natural resources

3. Religious or cultural differences
