By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:

ENTRY BEHAVIOUR

The pupils have already learned how to read simple passages and answer comprehension questions. They have also practised identifying important information in a text.

In this lesson, they will build on that knowledge by reading a passage carefully and using information from it to complete given sentences correctly.

READING PASSAGE

Bisi is a Primary 4 pupil. She wakes up early every morning and prepares for school. She helps her mother sweep the house before taking her bath. After breakfast, she wears her school uniform and walks to school with her friends.

At school, Bisi listens carefully to her teachers and participates in class activities. She enjoys reading storybooks and playing games during break time. Her teachers like her because she is hardworking and obedient.

One day, Bisi found a pencil on the classroom floor. She picked it up and gave it to her teacher. The teacher praised her for being honest.
