LEARNING OBJECTIVES
By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:

ENTRY BEHAVIOUR

CONTENT OF THE LESSON
INTRODUCTION
An invitation is a request asking someone to attend an event, meeting, ceremony, or occasion.
When we receive an invitation, we should reply politely by either:
- Accepting the invitation, or
- Declining (refusing) the invitation.
Invitations can be formal or informal.
FORMAL INVITATION REPLY
A formal invitation is sent for official events.

Dear Sir,
Thank you for inviting me to the Prize-Giving Ceremony of your school. I am pleased to accept your invitation and will attend the event.
