INTRODUCTION – IDENTIFICATION OF CUP

CENTRAL PROCESSOR UNIT
CPU – Stands for Central Processor Unit.
It is also called processor.
CPU is the brain of a computer.
The CPU makes the computer to think, calculate, count and draw.
PARTS OR COMPONENTS OF THE CPU
1. Arithmetic and logic unit (ALU)
2. Random Access Memory (RAM)
3. Control Unit (CU)
PRESENTATION
To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;
2. Guides pupils to identify the parts of a CPU and describe the CPU.
Pupil’s Activities – Identify the parts of a CPU and describe the CPU.
Teacher’s/Pupil’s Activities – Draw and label the CPU.
CONCLUSION
