TOPIC – GOD’S CREATIONS ARE FOR MAN’S INTEREST 

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

By the end of the lesson, most of the pupils should have attained the following objectives –

1. list the things created by God.

2. explain what is meant by God creating man, in His own image.

3. identify the significance of creation as a sign of God’s love to man.

4. list things created by man.

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS

The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of:

1. Pictures of beautiful things around God created

2. Map of the world

3. Film – the creation

4. GSM phones

5. Baskets, tables, etc.

METHOD OF TEACHING

Choose a suitable and appropriate methods for the lessons.

Note – Irrespective of choosing methods of teaching, always introduce an activities that will arouse pupil’s interest or lead them to the lessons.

LESSON 1 – INTRODUCTION

God creates man and wants us to create.

Man has God’s Spirit and some intelligence to work with.

1. Baskets

6. Buildings

7. Cars

8. Electronics

PRESENTATION

To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:

1. Revises the previous lesson based on the pupil’s related knowledge or understanding.

Pupil’s Activities – Participate actively in the lesson review.

3. Asks pupils to itemize all the things created by God and man.

4. Leads a discussion on how man created things with what God has created.

Pupil’s Activities – State things created by man.

5. Summarizes the lesson on the board.

Pupil’s Activities – Copy as instructed.

 

CONCLUSION

• To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
