CONTENT OF THE LESSON
INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITIES
Teacher’s Activities – Display a chart showing different parts of a home for pupils to identify the dining room and describe.
Pupil’s Responses – This is a dinning room. It is always close to the sitting and the kitchen.
Teacher’s remark – Home a house or apartment where people lives as a family. It has many rooms. Dining room is one of the rooms in the home. Based on the previous assignment, discuss the uses and cares of dining room. Write on the board, the contents of discussion.
DESCRIPTION OF DINING ROOM
Dining room is a room where we eat our food.
It is very close to the sitting room and the kitchen.
It contains set of chairs with table.
LESSON 2 – USES OF DINING ROOM AS A FUNCTIONAL ROOMS IN THE HOME
The uses of dining room are –
1. It is used for eating.
2. It is used for relaxation.
CARES OF DINING ROOM AS A FUNCTIONAL ROOMS IN THE HOME
1. Remove the cobwebs.
2. Sweep the floor regularly.
4. Dust the dining chairs and table.
5. Arrange the plates, cutleries and table mat back to their place.
