LEARNING OBJECTIVES
By the end of the lesson, most of the pupils should have attained the following objectives –
1. explain the meaning of moral.
2. state types of moral.
3. differentiate between good and bad morals.
4. list and demonstrate the values which show bad morals, that’s what is wrong.
LEARNING BEHAVIOURS
The pupils can state and demonstrate good and bad morals.
INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS
The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of cartoons, posters, room film and video clips
METHOD OF TEACHING
Choose a suitable and appropriate methods for the lessons.
Note – Irrespective of choosing methods of teaching, always introduce an activities that will arouse pupil’s interest or lead them to the lessons.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON
LESSON 1 – INTRODUCTION
Moral is the principle of what is right and wrong in human behaviours.
Good moral is a beliefs and values that is acceptable and safe for the society.
MEANING OF BAD MORAL
Bad moral is a belief and values that are unacceptable and unsafe for our society.
For example – lying, disobedience, disrespect, etc.
CHART SHORT A POEM ON GOOD AND BAD MORAL
Morals are the ways people behave in a community.
Morals are the DO’s and DON’T that show us which actions are right and which are wrong.
There are good and bad morals.
Good morals are good behaviour.
Bad morals are bad behaviour.
LESSON 2 – BAD MORAL OR BAD BEHAVIOUR IN OUR SOCIETY
Values that show bade moral in the society are as follows:
1. Stealing
2. Bullying
3. Fighting
4. Lying
5. Gossip
6. Smoking
7. Coming late to school
8. Jumping the school fence, etc.
LESSON 3 – REVISION AND WEEKLY ASSESSMENT (TEST)
PRESENTATION
To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;
2. Teacher organizes the pupils in groups or pairs depending on the size of the class and available instructional materials.
3. Teacher displays chart showing bad moral in the society.
4. Teacher lets pupils in groups or pairs to identify, describe and demonstrate the bad moral on the chart.
Pupil’s Activities – Learners describe and demonstrate how people lies.
5. Teacher uses the pupil’s relevant responses to introduce the lesson.
Pupil’s Activities – Learners pay attention to the lesson introduction to understand the concept of bad moral.
6. Teacher asks pupils to state other ways of showing bad morals.
Pupil’s Activities – Learners state and demonstrate values that shows bad moral.
7. Teacher leads the pupils as groups or pairs to discussion the meaning of bad moral and give examples of bad moral.
Pupil’s Activities – Learners analyze the importance of bad moral in the society.
8. Teacher summarizes the lessons on the board using appropriate lesson evaluation.
Pupil’s Activities – Learners participate actively in the summary of the lesson by responding to questions correctly and write as instructed.
CONCLUSION
To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
