TOPIC: EYES MOVEMENT 

 

 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

By the end of the lesson, most of the pupils should have attained the following objectives –

1. mention everyday activities.

2. complete a guided essay on, “what I do everyday.”

3. write simple sentences about their daily activities.

 

 

ENTRY BEHAVIOR

The pupils can say some of the their daily activities.

 

 

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS

The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of pupil’s basic activities on the chart.

 

 

METHOD OF TEACHING

Choose a suitable and appropriate methods for the lessons.

Note – Irrespective of choosing methods of teaching, always introduce an activities that will arouse pupil’s interest or lead them to the lessons.

PRESENTATION

To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:

1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;

2. Guides pupils to state some of their daily activities.

Pupil’s Activities – State some of their daily activities.

3. Writes some of their common activities on the board.

4. Helps them to make simple sentences about their daily activities.

Pupil’s Activities – Make simple sentences about their daily activities.

5. Guides pupils to turn their sentences in a simple essay.

Pupil’s Activities – Write a simple essay.

6. Titles the eassy, “What I do everyday.”

7. Turns the essay to a song.

Pupil’s Activities – Learn and sing along with the teacher.

8. Summarizes the lesson.

Pupil’s Activities – Participate actively in the summary.

 

 

CONCLUSION 

To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
