ENTRY BEHAVIOUR
Pupils have previously learned about water, its sources, uses, and the importance of clean water for healthy living. They know that water is needed for drinking, cooking, washing, farming, and other daily activities.
This lesson builds on that knowledge by introducing water projects, which are facilities developed to provide, store, treat, and distribute clean water to homes, schools, industries, farms, and communities. Pupils will also learn about the benefits and hazards of these water projects.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON

MEANING OF WATER PROJECTS
Water projects are facilities or programmes built to provide, store, treat, or distribute clean and safe water for people, farms, industries, and communities.

EXAMPLES OF WATER PROJECTS IN NIGERIA
