This lesson builds on that knowledge by introducing keyboard shortcuts, which are combinations of keys used to perform computer tasks quickly and easily without using the mouse.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON

INTRODUCTION

When working on a computer, many tasks can be completed faster by pressing two or more keys together. These key combinations are called keyboard shortcuts.

In this lesson, pupils will learn the meaning of keyboard shortcuts, their importance, the different types of keyboard shortcuts, and how to use common shortcuts while working on a computer.

LESSON 1 – MEANING OF KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS

Keyboard shortcuts are combinations of two or more keys pressed together to perform a task quickly on a computer without using the mouse.

They help users work faster and save time.

Keyboard shortcuts help to:

2. Improve speed and efficiency.

LESSON 2 – TYPES OF KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS
