1. Critique
Pronunciation: kri-teek
Meaning: to carefully examine and give an opinion
Sentence: The teacher will critique our writing.
2. Indigenous
Pronunciation: in-di-ji-nəs
Meaning: belonging naturally to a place
Sentence: Yam is an indigenous food in Nigeria.
3. Disc
Pronunciation: disk
Meaning: a flat round object
Sentence: He played music with a disc.
4. Virus
Pronunciation: vai-rəs
Meaning: a very small germ that causes sickness
Sentence: A virus can make people ill.
5. Proclaim
Pronunciation: pro-klaym
Meaning: to announce something loudly or publicly
Sentence: The principal will proclaim the winner.
6. Antics

Meaning: funny or silly actions
