1. explain in details what is meant by rules and regulations.

2. highlight and expatiate on specific examples of rules and regulations.

3. create their own classroom rules with the help of their teacher

 

ENTRY BEHAVIOUR

The pupils know the consequences of late coming to school or disturbing the peace of class.

 

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS

The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of chart showing Do’s and Don’ts.

 

METHOD OF TEACHING

Choose a suitable and appropriate methods for the lessons.

Note – Irrespective of choosing methods of teaching, always introduce an activities that will arouse pupil’s interest or lead them to the lessons.

Note – Teacher writes all the points make by the pupils and use it to introduce the lesson – Rules and Regulations. 

 

MEANING OF RULES AND REGULATIONS 

Rules and regulations are the Do’s and Don’ts that guide the social behavior.

 

IMPORTANCE OF RULES AND REGULATIONS 

1. It sets a standard in our society.

2. It provides safety and security.

3. It provides accountabilities in our society.

4. It foster positive image of our society.

5. It manages people behaviours.

 

LESSON 2 – SCHOOL RULES AND REGULATIONS 

In the school, rules and regulations are Do’s and Don’ts that guide the behavior of pupils.

 

SCHOOL RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Pupils must always come early to school.

2. Pupils must come every school day.

3. Pupils must always be neat and tidy at all times.

4. Pupils must have good manners.

5. Pupils must show respect to other.

6. Pupils must be truthful and trustworthy.

7. Pupils must pay attention to his/her at all times.

8. Pupils must show respect for the teachers and the school authority.

 

PRESENTATION

To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:

1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;

2. Teacher guides and leads the pupils to state the Do’s and Don’ts in the school and at home.

Pupil’s Activities – The pupils state the Do’s and Don’ts in the school and at home.

3. Teacher uses the pupils relevant responses to introduce the lesson and leads a class discussion on rules and regulations..

Pupil’s Activities – The pupils pay attention to the lesson introduction and participate actively in class discussion on rules and regulations.

4. Teacher summarizes the lesson on the board by using the lesson evaluation.

Pupil’s Activities – The pupils pay attention to the summary of the lesson by responding correctly to most of the questions and write as instructed.

 

CONCLUSION

To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
