ENTRY BEHAVIOUR
Pupils have previously learned about Microsoft PowerPoint toolbars and their functions. They learned that toolbars contain different tools used to create, edit, format, and present slides.
This lesson builds on that knowledge by introducing the menu bar, which contains different menus (tabs) such as Home, Insert, Design, Transitions, Animations, Slide Show, Review, and View. Pupils will learn the functions of these menu bars and how they help users perform different tasks in Microsoft PowerPoint.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON
INTRODUCTION
When Microsoft PowerPoint is opened, different menus appear at the top of the window. These menus help users access commands for creating, editing, formatting, saving, and presenting slides. These menus together form the menu bar.

A menu bar is a horizontal bar at the top of an application window that contains different menus (tabs) used to access commands and tools for performing various tasks.

TYPES OF MENU BARS AND THEIR FUNCTIONS
1. File Menu
The File Menu is used to manage presentations.

1. A menu bar is a row of menus (tabs) at the top of an application window. Each menu contains groups of commands. While, A toolbar is a group of buttons, icons, and commands that help users perform specific tasks quickly. Toolbars are usually found inside the selected menu/tab.
