CONTENT OF THE LESSON

READING PASSAGE: THE HONEST BOY

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Kunle who lived in a small village. Kunle was known for his honesty and good behaviour. One day, while returning from the market, he found a wallet containing money on the road.

Kunle picked up the wallet and looked around for the owner, but nobody was there. Instead of keeping the money, he decided to take the wallet to the village head. The village head announced the missing wallet in the community.

Later that day, an old man came looking for his lost wallet. He explained that the money inside was meant for his hospital treatment. The village head checked the wallet and confirmed that it belonged to the old man.

The old man thanked Kunle for his honesty and prayed for him. The villagers praised Kunle and advised other children to always tell the truth and return lost items.
