CONTENT OF THE LESSON
INTRODUCTION
Every day, many plastic bottles, papers, cans, and other materials are thrown away as waste. If these waste materials are not properly managed, they can pollute the environment and make our surroundings dirty. Instead of throwing them away, many of them can be recycled into useful items such as flower pots, pencil holders, watering cans, and decorative objects.
In this lesson, pupils will learn the meaning of recycling, the importance of recycling, the materials that can be recycled, and how to recycle plastic bottles into useful products while observing safety precautions.
LESSON 1 – MEANING OF RECYCLING
Recycling is the process of collecting and converting used or waste materials into new and useful products instead of throwing them away.
