CONTENT OF THE LESSON
INTRODUCTION
Storybooks are books that contain stories meant to entertain, educate, and teach good morals. Reading storybooks helps pupils improve their vocabulary, reading skills, and imagination.
STORY: THE HONEST BOY
There was a boy named Ade who lived in a small village. He was known for being honest and hardworking.
One day, while returning from school, Ade found a wallet on the road. When he opened it, he saw a large amount of money and some important documents. Instead of keeping the wallet, he decided to find the owner.
After asking around, Ade found out that the wallet belonged to an old man in the village. He returned the wallet to the old man, who was very happy and grateful.
The old man praised Ade for his honesty and rewarded him with a gift. Everyone in the village admired Ade because he chose to do the right thing.
From that day, Ade became an example for other children in the community.
Moral Lesson
Honesty is a good virtue. We should always tell the truth and do the right thing, even when no one is watching.
