CONTENT OF THE LESSON

INTRODUCTION

Farming includes many activities such as clearing the land, planting crops, feeding animals, watering plants, and harvesting crops. One person cannot do all the work alone. So, different people do different jobs. This is called division of labour.

Farm workers also face problems such as lack of tools, poor roads, low wages, and pests. These problems can be solved with better equipment, training, and support.

In this lesson, pupils will learn why division of labour is important in farming, the problems faced by agricultural workers, and the solutions to these problems.

Agricultural labour refers to the people who work on farms to produce crops, rear animals, raise fish, and carry out other farming activities.
