ENTRY BEHAVIOUR
The pupils have already learned how to read simple passages, recite short poems, and identify rhyming words in songs and poems. They have also practised reading with correct pronunciation and expression.
In this lesson, they will build on that knowledge by learning how to write simple rhythmic poems using rhyming words and a regular pattern of sounds.
