WORDS AND MEANING
1. Livestock – Farm animals such as goats, cows, and sheep.
2. Nursery – A place where young plants are grown or where young children are cared for.
3. Stream – A small flow of water like a small river.
4. Shelter – A place that protects people or animals from danger or bad weather.
5. Harvest – The act of gathering crops from the farm.
6. Implement – A tool or equipment used for work, especially farming.
7. Diagram – A simple drawing that shows how something looks or works.
8. Substances – Materials or things that have physical form.
9. Allocate – To share or give something for a particular purpose.
10. Evidence – Proof that shows something is true.
MAKING SENTENCES WITH EACH WORD
1. Livestock – The farmer takes good care of his livestock.
2. Nursery – The children are learning in the nursery class.
3. Stream – We fetched water from the stream.
4. Shelter – The hut gave us shelter from the rain.
5. Harvest – The farmers began the harvest of maize.

PRESENTATION
To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions.
2. The teacher organizes the pupils into groups or pairs depending on the size of the class.
Pupils’ Activities: Each pupil belongs to a group.
3. The teacher gives each group a chart or flashcards containing the words for the week and asks them to identify, pronounce, and find their meanings in the dictionary.
Pupils’ Activities: The groups identify, pronounce, and find the meanings of the words in the dictionary.
4. The teacher uses the chart/flashcards and the pupils’ responses to introduce the lesson, pronounces the words, and lets the pupils repeat after him/her.
Pupils’ Activities: The pupils pay attention to the lesson introduction, listen, and repeat the words correctly after their teacher.
5. The teacher guides the pupils on spelling and writing.
Pupils’ Activities: The pupils confidently spell and write the words correctly.
6. The teacher randomly calls on pupils/groups to spell and write words.
