SUMMARY
In this lesson, pupils learned that drawing with computers is the process of creating pictures, diagrams, and designs using a computer and special drawing software.
They also learned that drawing packages are computer programs used to draw, colour, edit, and design images. Examples of drawing packages include Microsoft Paint, CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, AutoCAD, and Inkscape.
Furthermore, pupils identified the basic tools found in drawing packages, such as the Pencil Tool, Brush Tool, Line Tool, Shape Tool, Colour Fill Tool, Eraser Tool, Text Tool, Zoom Tool, and Selection Tool, and learned the functions of each tool.
Finally, pupils understood the importance of drawing packages, including creating pictures and diagrams, designing greeting cards, posters and logos, producing illustrations for school work, encouraging creativity, and making drawing easier, faster, and neater than manual drawing.
