CONTENT OF THE LESSON
WHAT’S A SKIN?
Skin is the outer layer that cover of our body. The skin protects our bodies from germs, injuries, and extremes of hot or cold. Our skin is an important part of our bodies.
FUNCTIONS OF THE SKIN
1. The skin protects our bodies.
2. The skin helps keep our bodies at just the right temperature.
3. The skin allows us to have the sense of touch.
HOW TO CARE FOR THE SKIN
1. Bath regularly.
2. Stay from the sun and rain.
3. Water a clean cloth.
4. Don’t walk without wearing your shoes.
5. Use cap or umbrella during the sunny day.
6. Use umbrella when rain is falling.
7. Drink more water.
LESSON PRESENTATION
To deliver this lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
1. Teacher displays chart showing the skill.
2. Teacher points to the chart and asks the children to touch their skins.
Children’s Activities – The children touch their skin.
3. Teacher uses the chart to introduce lesson, tell the children about skin, its important and how to care for the skin.
Children’s Activities – The children pay attention to the lesson introduction, listen to the teacher and the importance of the skin.
4. Teacher summarizes the lesson by asking the children questions based on the lesson taught and gives the children work to do at home.
