CONTENT OF THE LESSON  

LESSON 1 – INTRODUCTION

MEANING OF SECURITY MANAGEMENT 

Security management is the process of managing the existing safety of lives and properties at all time.

Examples of security management are as follows – Quality security personnel, Threat assessment, Security register, Timely security report, Regular security monitor, Regular security check, Enlightenment and Control activities.

 

 

TYPES OF SECURITY MANAGEMENT 

There are different types of security management,

1. Information Security Management

2. Network Security. Management

3. Cyber Security Management

 

 

LESSON 2 – TYPES OF SECURITY MANAGEMENT

There are different types of security management – information, network, and cyber security management.

 

 

INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGEMENT 

Information security management is the process of protecting an existing data against potential threats.

One of the primary goals of these processes is to keep and protect the data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

 

 

NETWORK SECURITY MANAGEMENT 

Network security management is the process of managing the firewalls and policies for the purpose of preventing and monitoring unauthorized access and block all malicious attacks across the network.

 

 

CYBER SECURITY MANAGEMENT 

Cyber security management is the process of creating, implementing and managing a unified data security strategy so that data remains safe no matter how the company’s infrastructure evolves.

 

 

LESSON 3 – REVISION AND WEEKLY ASSESSMENT

 

 

PRESENTATION

To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:

1. Revises the previous lesson based on the pupil’s related knowledge or understanding.

2. Teacher uses appropriate instructional materials to introduce the lesson, lead a discussion and explain the types of security management.

Pupil’s Activities – The participate actively in the lesson discussions.

3. Teacher summarizes the lesson on the board with appropriate lesson evaluation.

Pupil’s Activities – The pupils participate actively in the summarizes of the lesson by responding correctly to most of the lesson evaluation and write as instructed.

 

 

CONCLUSION

To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
