LEARNING OBJECTIVES
By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
1. read letters fluently and correctly.
2. identify the parts of an informal letter.
3. explain the purpose of a letter.
4. identify the recipient of a letter.
5. answer questions based on letters read.
ENTRY BEHAVIOUR
The pupils already know how to write simple letters. In this lesson, they will learn how to read and understand letters written to different people such as an elder sister, brother, father, teacher, and friends.

INTRODUCTION
A letter is a written message sent from one person to another. Letters help people share information, greetings, feelings, and experiences.
Letters written to family members, teachers, and friends are called informal letters because they are written in a friendly and personal manner.

PRESENTATION
To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
