LEARNING OUTCOME
By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
- make a chart of water cycle.
- state the relationships between the formation of rain and water cycle.
RATIONALE
The water cycle is vital to supporting all life on earth. Without it, nothing would grow or survive. The concept of water cycle will pupils understand and appreciate why water is essential to life.
LEARNING MATERIALS
The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of:
- Kettle, plastic bowls, metal plate, stove.
- A chart of the water cycle showing how cloud and rain are formed.
PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE
The rain fall and the ground is wet and later dry. This process continues to repeat itself. The pupils understand this process very well but not knowing that the process is called water cycle. In this lesson, pupils will learn how rain is form and fall back to the ground.
