PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

By the end of the lesson, the pupils should have attained the following objectives (cognitive, affective and psychomotor) and should be able to:

identify the moral lessons from the drama.

 

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS

The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of:

Audiovisual gadgets – 10″ tablet connected with bluetooth radio for audio.

 

 

METHOD OF TEACHING – Choose a suitable and appropriate methods for the lessons.

Note – Irrespective of choosing methods of teaching, always introduce an activities that will arouse pupil’s interest or lead them to the lessons.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON 

LESSON ONE – INTRODUCTION (DRAMA) 

Play short drama (about 15 minutes) for pupils to watch.

 

LESSON TWO – MORAL LESSON FROM THE DRAMA 

 

Teacher’s Activities – Guides and allows the pupils to identify and state the moral lessons from the drama.

 

REVISION AND WEEK 5 ASSESSMENT (TEST) 

As stated in performance objectives or lesson evaluation. 

 

 

PRESENTATION

To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:

1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;

2. Guides and allows to identify the moral in the drama.

Pupil’s Activities – Identify and state the moral lesson from drama.

 

CONCLUSION

  • To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.

 

LESSON EVALUATION

Pupils to:

state five (5) moral lessons from the drama.
