WEEK 9 – DEMONSTRATE AND PERFORM BASIC SWIMMING STYLES – FREE STYLE AND BACK STROKES
Lesson 1 – Free Style
Teacher’s/Pupil’s Activities – Guide the pupils to demonstrate and perform freestyle.
Observe and enforce the basic rules in swimming.
Lesson 2 – Backstroke Swimming Style
Teacher’s/Pupil’s Activities – Guide the pupils to demonstrate and perform backstroke swimming style.
Observe and enforce the basic rules in swimming.
WEEK 10 – DEMONSTRATE AND PERFORM BASIC SWIMMING STYLES – BREASTSTROKE SWIMMING STYLE
Lesson 1 – Breaststroke Swimming Style
Teacher’s/Pupil’s Activities – Guide the pupils to demonstrate and perform breaststroke swimming style.
Observe and enforce the basic rules in swimming.
Lesson 1 – Butterfly Stroke
Teacher’s/Pupil’s Activities – Guide the pupils to demonstrate and perform butterfly swimming style.
Observe and enforce the basic rules in swimming.
PRESENTATION
To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;
2. Enforces the rules in swimming.
Pupil’s Activities – Observe safety rules when practising.
CONCLUSION
To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
