MEANING OF RESPONSIBLE PARENTHOOD 

A responsible parenthood is the ability of a parent to able meet and care for the needs of their children.

 

DUTIES/CHARACTERISTICS Of RESPONSIBLE PARENTHOOD

1. They are ready a new baby.

2. The attend antenatal regularly.

3. They eat nourishing food

4. They care for their child/ren.

5. They provide for their family needs.

6. The mother ensures she breastfeed her baby for the first six (6) months.

7. They provide children with proper parental guidance, etc.

 

 

ROLES OF RESPONSIBLE PARENT

The roles of responsible parenthood are as follows:

1. to protect your child from harm.

2. to provide your child with food, clothing and a place to live.

3. to financially support your child.

4. to provide safety, supervision and control.

5. to provide medical care.

6. to provide an education.

 

IMPORTANCE OF RESPONSIBLE PARENTHOOD

1. It produces responsible citizens.

2. It reduces the rate crime.

3. It creates a healthy nation.

4. It guarantee religious and ethnic tolerance.

5. It promote disciplined society, no one can live a victorious life without discipline.
