The pupils can identify a leader.

 

 

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS

The teacher will teach the lesson with flashcard.

 

 

METHOD OF TEACHING

Choose a suitable and appropriate methods for the lessons.

Note – Irrespective of choosing methods of teaching, always introduce an activities that will arouse pupil’s interest or lead them to the lessons.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON

FOLLOW THE LEADER 

A leader is someone that lead and other follow. A leader must always lead by example.

 

A leader in the school is called headteacher.

A leader in the class is called teacher.

A leader among the pupils in the class is called class captain.

A leader among the school prefects is called head boy and head girl.

A leader at home are our parents.

A lead in the state is called the governor.

A leader in Nigeria is called the president.

A leader must always be in the front.

 

 

PRESENTATION

To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:

1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson based on what he/she taught or what the pupils have learned.

2. Teacher displays chart showing a leader and his/her followers.

3. Teacher guides the pupils to identify the person in the front as the leader and those behind as followers.

Pupil’s Activities – The pupils identify the person in the front as the leader and those behind as followers.

4. Teacher guides the pupils to identify the leader in the school, class, at home, state and Nigeria.

Pupil’s Activities – The pupils identify the leader in the school, class, at home, state and Nigeria.

5. Teacher summarizes the lesson on the board.

Pupil’s Activities – The pupils participate actively in the summary.

 

 

CONCLUSION

To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
