Pupils’ Activities: Pupils respond by describing how they know where to go.

Step 2: Meaning of Direction – The teacher explains the meaning of direction and gives simple examples of moving from one place to another.

Pupils’ Activities: Pupils explain the meaning of direction in their own words.

Step 3: Meaning of Cardinal Points – The teacher explains that the four main cardinal points are:

  • North (N)
  • South (S)
