PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES 

By the end of the lesson, most of the pupils should have attained the following objectives – state ways to manage security.

The pupils can differentiate between safety and security.

The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of showing safety and security devices.

Choose a suitable and appropriate methods for the lessons.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON  

LESSON 1 – INTRODUCTION

Security management is the process of managing the existing safety of lives and properties at all time.

 

 

WAYS TO MANAGE SECURITY 

1. Reduce risk exposure.

2. Assess, plan, design and implement an overall risk-management and compliance process.

3. Be vigilant about new and evolving threats, and upgrade security systems to counteract and prevent them.

4. Leverage high-quality, integrated data and systems to manage organizational risk.

5. Maintain adequate business service levels while adhering to all internal and external security requirements.

LESSON 2 – REVISION AND WEEKLY ASSESSMENT (TEST) 

 

 

PRESENTATION

To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:

1. Revises the previous lesson based on the pupil’s related knowledge or understanding.

2. Teacher organizes the pupils in groups depending on the size of the class with appropriate writing materials.

3. Teacher guides pupils as groups to mention and discuss ways to manage security.

Pupil’s Activities – The pupils participate actively in the classroom discussion.

4. Teacher uses the class discussion to introduce the lesson and explain ways to manage security.

Pupil’s Activities – The pupils analyze the importance of managing security at home, school and the society.

5. Teacher summarizes the lesson on the board with appropriate lesson evaluation.

Pupil’s Activities – The pupils participate actively in the summarizes of the lesson by responding correctly to most of the lesson evaluation and write as instructed.

 

 

CONCLUSION

To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
