2. state the industrial finished goods from from agriculture products.
3. give examples of some of the industries in your area.

The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of:
1. Pictorial display of people planting crop, rearing animals, processing agricultural products, selling agricultural products.
2. Simple chart or pictures showing the importance of Agriculture in Nigeria.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON
LESSON 1 – INTRODUCTION
Raw materials are materials used in the primary production or manufacturing of goods. Many industries depend mainly on agricultural materials for production of goods such as tin tomato, sardines, fruits juice, bread, etc.
Industries are factories where raw materials are process into finished or semi finished goods.
INDUSTRY THAT DEPEND ON AGRICULTURAL RAW MATERIALS IN NIGERIA
The following are industries that depends on raw materials from agriculture are,

Raw Materials – The major raw materials for cassava-based noodles are cassava flour, wheat flour, salt, vegetable oil, and noodle improver.

LESSON 2 – INDUSTRIAL FINISHED GOODS FROM AGRICULTURE PRODUCTS
A finished good are goods that are ready for immediate consumption or used. These good do not not need for further processing before use or consumption.
Examples of finished goods are as follows:

REVISION AND WEEKLY ASSESSMENT (TEST)
PRESENTATION
To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson based on what he/she taught or what the pupils have learned.
2. Teacher organizes pupils in groups or pairs depending on the size of the class and available instructional materials.
3. Teacher displays chart showing different products made from agriculture for the pupils to identify and discuss the source of materials used in production.
Pupil’s Activities – The pupils discuss identify some of the products and discuss basic raw materials.
4. Teacher uses the chart and the pupil’s relevant responses to introduce the lesson and leads a class discussion on agriculture as source of raw materials for industries.
Pupil’s Activities – The pupils pay attention to the introduction and participate actively in the class discussion, state and discuss employment opportunities in agriculture.
5. Teacher uses chart showing name of industries with their products to guides the pupils to identify and discuss some of the agricultural materials used in the production.
Pupil’s Activities – The pupils participate actively in the class discussion to identify, name, products and agricultural used by some industries.
6. Teacher leads the pupils to identify some of the agricultural finished products in their community.
Pupil’s Activities – The pupils state some of the agricultural finished products in their communities.
7. Teacher organizes a short play on how agricultural products are bought and sold at the market.
Pupil’s Activities – The pupils participate actively in the short play by demonstrating how on agricultural products are bought and sold at the market.
8. Teacher summarizes the lesson on the board using appropriate lesson evaluation.
Pupil’s Activities – The pupils participate actively in the summary by responding correctly to the questions and write as instructed.
CONCLUSION
To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
