CONTENT OF THE LESSON
INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITIES
Teacher’s Activities – Displays a chart showing healthy child and unhealthy child for the pupils to different between the child that’s eating foods and the child that’s not.
Pupil’s Activities – State the importance of eating good food.
Teacher’s Remark – Listen to the pupils, give cheers for their respond and introduce and discuss the importance of eating good foods.
IMPORTANCE OF BALANCED DIET
1. It builds the body.
2. It is growth and repair of body tissue.
3. It gives energy to the body.
4. It protects the body against germs and diseases.
5. It gives energy.
6. It regulates body system.
PRESENTATION
To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;
2. Leads the discussion on the importance of eating good foods.
Pupil’s Activities – State the importance of eating good foods.
CONCLUSION
- To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
