CONTENT OF THE LESSON
INTRODUCTION
A community leader is a person who guides and directs the affair of the people in his/her community.
OTHER DUTIES OF A COMMUNITY LEADER
1. A community leader keeps and ensures peaceful coexistence among his/her people.
2. A community leader organises community work.
3. A community leader ensures provision of basic amenities for his/her community.
PRESENTATION
To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;
2. States the roles of community leaders.
Pupil’s Activities – List the roles of community leaders.
3. Explain each responsibility and how to carry it out.
Pupil’s Activities – Listen to explanation and ask questions.
CONCLUSION
- To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
