Computers have become an important part of everyday life. They help people perform tasks faster, more accurately, and more efficiently. Computers are used in homes, schools, offices, hospitals, banks, airports, factories, and government offices.

In this lesson, pupils will learn about the small-scale and large-scale applications of computers in society and understand how computers make work easier and improve people’s lives.

Computer applications in society refer to the different ways computers are used by individuals, businesses, organisations, and governments to perform various tasks, solve problems, store information, communicate, and provide services.

Computers make work easier, faster, more accurate, and more efficient in many areas of life.

Computers are commonly used in:
